A game drive is by far the best way to encounter wildlife in Uganda normally carried out in a 4×4 safari vehicle that traverses through already made game tracks in search of attractions. The activity gives you an insight to explore the vast savannah landscapes as you encounter numerous wildlife species including mammals and birds. Game drives in Uganda carried out in most of the national parks in Uganda including Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Lake Mburo park, Semuliki and Kidepo valley national park.

Game drives can be done early in the morning, afternoon and evening or night time depending on the park. Expect sightings of various wildlife species during a game drives including lions, elephants, antelope species, buffalo, hippos, zebra, warthogs, primates, giraffes, leopards to mention but a few.
