The 5 Days Uganda Safari Package Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
By today morning, your car and driver are ready; I hope you are also ready for the trip. Having early breakfast is greatly important to arrive at the park in time. You never predict what happens on the road, set off early and have enough time to stop and take photographs, buy some roasted foods, do a lot of sightseeing. The drive takes approximately 6-7hrs to the southwestern region. Have the rest of your evening checking, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
The leopards rove the Mweya peninsular, lions conquer the Ishasha sector and the shoebill stork, herds of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, bushbucks, Jackson’s heart beast, sitatungas, baboons, mongoose and many more rodents linger around the open Savannah areas of the park. Enjoy much of the park during the Morning game drive; it is best to start as early as 6am.
The afternoon launch cruise sails past the hippos and the Nile crocodiles. This is the best spot to view the pink backed pelicans, crows, African fish eagle, yellow wagtail, black crake, saddle-billed stork and lot more. Every moment in the wild places of Uganda is worth every dollar spent in a foreign country. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a beautifully diverse and mountainous area in the southwestern region approximately 4hrs from Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive through the Ishasha sector and proceed to the home of the mountain gorillas.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Today is such a thrilling and fun packed day as you get ready to encounter the mountain gorillas, whether you choose to do the gorilla habituation or just gorilla trekking you still have a chance and equal opportunity for adventure as well. Only 8 people are allowed per group and a maximum of an hour is offered to spend with the gorillas after you have found them. Add more adventure to the day by visiting the Batwa pygmies. They are fun to be with and very hospitable, with their dance and music.

Day 5: Departure
Have an early breakfast and check out of your lodge. It is approximately 9hrs from Bwindi Forest National Park to Kampala. It is quite a long drive although very fruitful in terms of sightseeing. Enjoy a warm lunch in Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural center; proceed to Kampala with a stop at the equator monument. Complete your trip with an airport transfer or drop at your preferred destination in Kampala.
