Day 1: Arrival day

Today, we are ready to meet and pick you from the airport and it marks the first day of your trip. In case this is going to be a self drive trip, we shall transfer you to the hotel or deliver the car to you at the airport. Please do cross check with your guide if all the camping equipment has been carried in the car and if you think you will any extra stuff, drive from the airport, your guide knows where best to shop more materials you may need. Day 2: Transfer to Jinja

Today  after breakfast, join your drive and check out Kampala city in the morning hours, see how busy the city  is as the people rush to their jobs, during the city  tour, visit the Museum, Kabaka’s palace, religious sites and the Nakasero market where you will buy some fresh organic food for your camping trip. Market sells a number of fresh fruits, root crops, spices, cooking materials and dishes, whatever you think you will need.

After your lunch drive to Jinja through Mabira rainforest, remember to look out for the vevert monkeys, beautiful birds and the flourishing trees with thick canopies. Proceed to Nile explorer camp, where you will put up your tents for the night.

Day 3: Whole At the River Nile

Jinja is one of Uganda’s most famous towns and majorly so industrialized. The district is famous for being the base or the source of the longest river in Africa the Nile. Today after your hearty breakfast get ready to join other members for an interesting rafting experience.

Taste the rise of your adrenaline as you hit the some of the tough and challenging rafts of East Africa. Grab a warm lunch after the thrilling rafting experience and get ready for an afternoon quad biking session. You can still opt to enjoy some soccer on the river shores or volley ball before getting ready to light your camp fire, and preparing a light dinner. Have your night still at the Nile Explore camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Mbale

Today, continue further to the east and visit Mbale district. Mbale is proudly known for the world’s greatest caldera, Mt. Elgon. The drive from Jinja to Mbale is approximately 3 hours, therefore you can make stop in Mbale town for lunch and stock more food for your next camping days. Proceed to Sipi falls rest camp where you will put your tents for the night.

Day 5: Hike to The Sipi Falls

The Sipi falls is a series of three waterfalls and many hikes to Wagagi peak start and end at the Sipi trail. After breakfast, wait on your guide to lead you all the way to the falls. Safety precautions are displayed almost everywhere and where possible ask for guidance from the guides. The hike at Sipi offers guest a great view for the whole Karamoja region at one spot. After the hike, return to your campsite for a lunch meal and have a community walk in the afternoon. Prepare your dinner and rest at Sipi camp

Day 6: Transfer to kidepo Valley National Park

Wake up to early morning breakfast, if you  do not have time to make breakfast, then drive off the campsite and grab some breakfast at the close café centers on the road out of Sironko. The drive to kidepo is approximately 9-10hrs therefore you will need to hit the road early enough. After clearing at the park entrance, drive to the UWA bandas , it is safe to  camp here.

Day 7: Game viewing In Kidepo National Park

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, you guide will help on you preparations for your meal, after that get ready for a game viewing drive through the park track. This drive offers you best opportunities to see the lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, the mighty ostrich and so many more. Return to your camp and have some lunch. Engage into an afternoon visit to the hot springs.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Today, depart Kidepo for Murchison Falls National parks; the drive is approximately 7hrs through Gulu town. This is the largest National park in Uganda and most ancient open savannah grasslands being home to numerous animals and the prestigious waterfalls. Put up your camping tents at the Conservation centers, it is safe to camp here.

Day 9: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat cruise

Today we hit the park tracks in such for the residents of this park, the giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, warthogs and so many more animals including the birds of Uganda. Return to your campsite for a lunch or get your lunch meal at Red chilli rest Camp.

In the afternoon get ready to embark on an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. This 2hrs boat cruise offers you great chance to see the Nile Crocodiles, Hippos in the water, elephants on the river banks, numerous birds’ species and the magnificent water falls. After the whole adventure, drive back to your campsite and prepare your fire, plus your diner.

Day 10: Departure

On this day we mark the end of the trip, after your breakfast, hope on board and drive back to Kampala. Make a stop at the top of the falls before checking out of the park gates. An en-route stop at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, to track the white Rhinos, have lunch and proceed back to  Kampala with overnight stay at backpackers hostel Kampala.
