3 Days Kibale National Park Safari

This 3 days chimpanzee trekking safari starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe. It takes tourists to the world’s primate capital which is most known for its high density of chimpanzees. The highlight for this safari is chimpanzee tracking which takes place in a tropical rain forest- Kibale. During the adventure, tourist have a chance to come across many other wildlife in this park including the black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey and other mammals. Baboons are commonly seen while birds are also spotted in most areas of the park.

Highlights of the tour

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale

After early morning breakfast we pick you from a hotel or guesthouse of your choice in Entebbe or Kampala and leave for Kibale NP. We will stop on the way for Lunch and beautiful scenery. In the afternoon we will arrive at Kibale NP, sleeping with the noises of the tropical rainforest.

2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp visit

After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda.

This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After chimpanzee tracking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland.

Day 3: Return journey

After breakfast, you will enjoy a leisurely drive back to Kampala arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe airport for your onward flight and that will be end of this 3 Days Kibale forest Chimpanzee tracking safari in Uganda.
